Enter with a Bismillah, leave with flowers, fruits with seeds to plant in your own garden, and most importantly an Alhamdulillah.

Deen is the soil the garden grows from. Everything is written with the intention of drawing readers closer to Allah.

We believe in doing things with ihsān: that means thoughtful writing, gentle language, intentional design, and a visual aesthetic that reflects serenity and care.

Our work invites readers to pause, breathe, and return to themselves - offering substance, clarity, and calm in a landscape crowded with distraction.

We welcome Muslim women from all walks of life, creating a shared space of learning, support, and sincerity where everyone feels safe and seen.
Each issue is a quiet invitation to pause, reflect, and grow

Garden of Words began with something simple: a dictionary of Islamic terms. At the time, I wanted to create a resource that would make learning about our deen clear, gentle, and approachable. What started as a small seed—just definitions and notes—slowly began to grow.
Soon it became a newsletter, then a blog, where reflections, reminders, and little pieces of writing could be shared. Over time, with Allah's help and the encouragement of readers, the garden expanded into what it is today: a seasonal magazine, a collection of eBooks, and a library of open resources.
This project has never been about perfection or polish, but about sincerity—about creating a space where learning Islam feels as natural and nourishing as walking through a garden.
But a garden is never tended by one pair of hands alone. As it grew, Garden of Words became a space for community—sisters sharing their voices, readers sending their reflections, contributors offering their words, art, and time. What began as my seed has blossomed into something we water and nurture together.
